Wee...just came back from school xD..yea man no weekend homework so i get to slack more =D...hehe okayokay i shall post abt the pattaya trip again xP
A Voyage Of Songs 2007, Pattaya, Thailand.
Day 2:
hmm..if i recall correctly, we woke up at 7..haha..and having packed our stuff the night before, we set off to pattaya after breakfast..ohh ya..we went to a temple on the way haha..
mmm...at the temple, we took a group photo..which could be purchased at 100 baht(est:SGD $5)..keke..i bought 1..anyways, after entering the temple, i felt very tired and sat down while the guide, Mr Peter, explained all about it.haha after that we took a tour around the temple, taking pictures along the way..
well..what happened after that im not exactly sure.. xP...OH YA!when we were done with the tour,the guide asked us to find the bus along this damm bloody long stretch of road..walking,walking and walking, we diddnt see our bus, so we called Mr Peter, and it turned out that the bus driver got the wrong info and was at another place(damm it..15min of walking and NOTHING!)..haha well then we set off for lunch at a buffet spot along the way...OH MAN THE FOOD RAWKS!!!i spammed wanton mee..ate 4 bowls of wanton mee +soup...haha challenged travis to eat as well..HE ATE 5(faints)..
haha..after lunch, we proceeded to the festival venue, the Jomtien City or something =P..met Tk when we got off the bus..they were wearing their famous green outfit again..after giving out the keys to our rooms, ms lau announced that myo would be staying in a different wing from us!DARNIT!well..no choice la..so we went to our rooms lo..=(..hmm..the meals there were at the Grand Jomtien, and we needed these coupons to enter.. so mafan..haha well,thats not the point.I was trying to say that, my roomates were jun yew, malcolm and jon phua haha..shared a bed with malcolm..hmm then..if im not wrong..we...err...slacked!yaya...we slacked all the way till 8 then went for dinner xD..haha..dinner was at the grand jomtien(not so grand lol..its just a gigantic white room with lots of tables and chairs xD)..well, after dinner was practice with mr low..hmm the practice was not bad..except that my throat was really bad and i culdnt hit the "pumpum" note properly..haha jingyuan and terry then helped me..barely reached it..xD..well, after that we went back to our rooms for lights out..
Hmm..okay..i 4got abt whut hpned on day 4 and 5 and 6..xD only remembered something about buying a soccer ball and a soccer jersey at a shopping mall and something abt a pump..haha shall just post about day 3(competition date) and day 4(results date)
Day 3:
hmm..day 3..the competition date..i shall just post abt the competition and the results ceremony =D..well, we had sectionals in the morning and i gave lots of pep talks to the sops..cuz their throats were all very hoarse..haha well..before the performance,we went to the warmup room to warmup(duh..)mr low gave us a talk..a really good one..about how we should feel on stage..it really works!=DD keke..performance time..i can only say this:I REALLY ENJOYED MYSELF xDDDD..i guess that was what we should do..and what we did!=)) haha well after performance we took pictures..i was trying to block evry1 when they took pics xD(i noe im gl-guai lan =DD) haha we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves after that and partied at night..well that was what i remembered for day 3..
Day 4:
Day 4..RESULTS DAY!!!we went to a shopping mall before the ceremony and i bought a soccer ball and a jersey..LOL ryan is SO BLOODY PRO at haggling the prices. heres a re-enacment:
Ryan:auntie this one how much?
Auntie:600 baht
Ryan:CANNOT!(waving his hand to show disagreement)300!!
Auntie:aii..cannot la..550 baht..
Ryan:CANNOT!(waving his hand again)400 baht!
Auntie:550 baht la..
Ryan:okay..thank you auntie..
(after purchasing one, i wanted to buy one also..so...)
Me:550 baht rite?
Auntie:yes correct..
Me:(takes out 500 baht and 2 20 baht notes)
Ryan:aiya auntie nvm la..540 baht..later i call ALL my frens come buy..
Auntie:(laughs)haha okayokay..
LOL...ryan..U ARE PRO!!*clapclap*..haha after the shopping spree we went back to get our results...rushing into the hall (cuz we were late),luckily mr kwei just started..reading from Cat A,he slowly proceeded to Cat F:Folklore..as we waited anxiously,i prayed silently..then at last..Choir Number XX, Victoria School Choir..............Points:..............81.53, GOLD C!!!!!!!!WOOOOOOOT!!!WOOOOOOOT!!!!I jumped up from my seat and screamed!!!xDxDxDxDxD..shiok man!!!in ur face, cat high!!!xD(fyi they got 81.34)SONG BOH!!!haha...after going out of the hall, we did a school cheer(VS Unite)xD shouted our hearts out!!!VS CHOIR RAWKS!!!!phew...

Day 1:
xD Woke up at 6.err..whut time was it?shud be 6...haha well,i THINK i wokeup at 6, prepared my luggage and hand-carry bag and set off with my parents to the Tanah Merah MRT Station. after saying a really good goodbye to my family i left the car..LOL met with the dudes at ard 7..haha i was the last to arrive..well, anyways, we went for breakfast at the BK in T2..then met Ms Lau and the rest at Row 6 at 8.30..after she gave us our passports we checked in our luggage and went inside the departure hall.hmm..oh ya we were split into groups so my group and i went to camp outside the gate and play "dai di"xD..new rules..after 1 person games,for every card the other 3 players have, they hv to down the number(yea as in pump).xD LOL lost 4 won 2 =D nt bad..
well,after that the gate opened and we proceeded in..BUT there was a change of gates and we went to err..(4got which gate)..anyway when Ms Lau walked thru the scanner she tio!!xD lol she showed her face again =/..hohoho..after boarding the plane, we went to our seats.i was sitting between Shane and Ashwin..and..u noe whut?MY SEAT'S TV THINGY DIDDNT WORK!!!(i was taking SQ flight so we had the tv thingy)IT DIDDNT WORK!!it was spoilt..=(..so i shared with Shane..haha about halfway of the flight,i called for service and asked about the tv thingy..the 1st steward said he wuld help me reset it and to give him 10mins..BUT..after 15 mins,nothing hpned..so i called for service again..tis time it was a stewardess..she said to give her 15mins...BUT..after 20mins,NOTHING happened..so..again i called for service and the same lady came..she asked for another 15mins so i agreed.and..THE SAME THING happened when after 20mins,nothing happened..so i had to call for service and tis time she changed my seat*grumbles*.. well,i ate the in-flight lunch there..was rice with chicken stew...nt bad the chicken is nice =DD..haha well i shifted back to my original seat after eating.
hmm..if im nt wrong..we started to land..then our ears started to get blocked..luckily i used my "anytime yawn skills" to unblock them..(FYI yawning is useful and effective=D)..then..shane couldnt yawn and he was literally having spasms as his ear hurt too much..then,i disturbed him by wacking his ear..xDwell,after that he diddnt let me yawn by making me laugh..and my ear started to hurt too..we both had spasms(by laughing too much and by the pain)all the way to the airport...LOLOLOLOL..
haha..well..when we arrived my ear started clearing up..(so did shane's)..haha..well..that's all i remember at the airport..
the next thing i recall..was that we arrived at the 1st hotel if the trip, the Asia Bangkok Hotel..it was quite nice..i shared a room with junyew(oh btw it was his bday on tht day HAPPY BDAY JUN YEW=D)haha...hmm we checked in and i pranked a few people with room to room dialling..then we went for practice..hmm the practice was not bad..altho i started having a sore throat..haha i 4got about my bag and i went up with only my file and water bottle..then when we supposed to go for shopping..i suddenly remembered about the bag!!!gathering a few frens, we went down to find the bag..the room was pitch black lol..so scary..anyway heng..i found my bag on a chair(shane spotted it)..haha myo was like:wth xD..SORRY AND THANKS GUYS!hmm..well we went to Mahboonkong shopping centre for shopping(duh)..haha i bought an imitation iPod mp4, a pair of pink shoes for my mum,and myo bought a DS game..shane bought an mp4 too..having too much money, shane insisted we keep walking till he had only 2k baht left(SGD$1=22baht)..lol he brought 4.5k there..haha we met an old victorian outside of the mall..he wished us good luck for the competition(cool eh?)
haha..well..after the shopping spree we went back to the hotel, and we started a DS party in my room..we played myo's new DS game..and near lights out..the gang started making jun yew's surprise..and i bought em time by keeping jun yew busyxD haha...then..i went out to sign my name on his card and knocked on the door.when he came out.....SURPRISE!!HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUN YEW!!hahaahhaha...so cool..well..that was it for day 1..
haha...well..that was it for day 1 in thailand..shall post about the other days tmr..gotta catch up on homework...cya!!xP
